How much does it cost to groom a dog? View the guide prices and explanation of working time at Bricks&Broks grooming salon in Beerse for dogs and cats.
Grooming Salon Prices
The price of a grooming session depends on several factors.
Every dog or cat is different, and therefore the working time is always determined by:
• the size of the animal
• the condition of the coat
• home maintenance
• the animal's behaviour
• the chosen treatment or style
That is why we work with guide prices per treatment or per hour.

Working time – what to expect?
The average working time depends on the size of the animal and the condition of the coat.
Cats
Most cats are ready within 30 to 60 minutes, depending on coat and behaviour.
Cats are not routinely washed. Washing only happens in consultation.
Small clipping dogs
(e.g. Maltese, Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier)
On average between 1 hour and 1 hour 20 minutes, depending on the coat quality and the chosen style.
Medium clipping dogs
(e.g. Cocker, medium-sized doodle)
Usually between 1 hour 15 and 1 hour 45 minutes.
Highly dependent on size and coat condition.
Large clipping dogs
(e.g. large doodles, standard poodle)
The working time is highly dependent on the coat and the style.
A standard poodle or large doodle styled often takes between 2h30 and 3 hours.
Heavy coats and intensive work
Breeds such as:
• Keeshonds
• Chow Chows
• Collies
• Shepherds
fall under heavy coats.
For these dogs, it is not so much the size, but especially the thickness and condition of the coat that determines the working time.
For heavy coats, extra cleaning and tidying work is a standard part of the treatment and is included in the total working time.
