Made of soft but very sturdy plastic that is safe for skin and coat.

Less is more with coat care.
Always work in short strokes and without pressure.
Never brush in the same spot for too long and give the coat a break in between.
For dense coats (such as the British Shorthair), this is extra important, as they can react more sensitively to over-brushing.
Stop in time.
Do you notice that fewer or no loose hairs are coming out? Then it's enough.
If no hairs come out from the start, there are no loose hairs that simply come out. This way you can be sure that you are not damaging healthy hairs.
Over-brushing is not recommended for any coat and with any tool and can lead to hair breakage or skin irritation.

Which brush is right for my dog or cat?
The right brush depends on coat length and coat structure:
• Short-haired: Flexible comb
• Medium-haired: Curved slicker 18mm - possibly combine with a flexible comb during shedding season. Fine comb to check for knots.
• Long-haired: Curved slicker 25mm
• Curly/thick: Combination of brushes depending on the chosen cut length at the grooming salon.
The small slicker is for small dogs or cats, for detail work such as behind the ears, under the armpits, etc.
